Saul Tembo is a talented artist from Zambia in Africa. He teaches in a small secondary school in Chengello and has spent four weeks in KLB School working on a mural project with our year 9 pupils. |
|
| From designs submitted by every pupil in year nine, 2 from each teaching group have been chosen to be painted by groups of 8 pupils at a time for eventually fixing under the windows of the Design
Technology rooms. Each panel depicts a different aspect of Africa including the people, wildlife, artefacts and the environment. |
 |
Using images of his own work Saul explains to the groups about life in Zambia. He illustrates the differences between our customs and those of another culture. |
| Pupils listen attentively as he discusses everyday issues such as dress, eating habits, feeding babies etc.
