Comments: Hello to everyone who can remember me. I left in 1999 and I have very fond memories of my time at KLB. I am always keen to know what new things keep cropping up on the website. I’m currently enjoying life at the Birmingham Conservatoire, where I am studying organ and composition. It’s always nice to come back sleepy Wotton-under-Edge though! It would be nice to hear from anyone who was in my year. Bye for now. Jon

Comments: Hello peeps, especially classmates up to 2001. I had a brilliant time at KLB, made friends for life. Thanks to the teachers that have got me where I am now (Reading uni, human geography) esp. Mr Ashford, Mr Pegg and Miss Hancock. Hope the hockey is still going strong, bring on the Berkeley! xxx

Comments: Hi to anyone that remembers me. I loved KLB, and still have loads of great memories of my time between '77 and '84, although I don't seem to remember the teachers looking quite as odd and 'beardy' as they seem to in the archive photo's on the website! Special thanks to Mr Ashford whose geography classes led to an 'A' O Level and gave me the incentive to see as much of the world as I possible could over the following years - just goes to show that teachers ARE important. I'd be interested to hear from any old members of my year - its always good to find out what people have been up to, who ended up in prison, who is rich, and who is just a poor wage-slave like myself

Working as a model maker for kids animation and singing and writing songs in a band called iroka, play in Bristol a lot. Download my songs at iroka.co.uk if you like. Best wishes you lovely school. You are and always will be deep in my heart....!

Comments: Still have fond memories of my 7 years here. Like many people, the Star is still a tradition. I graduated from Warwick Uni in July with a 2:1 degree in Film and Literature and a Open Studies diploma in Journalism. Went travelling round the States and temporarily satisfied my shopping instincts. I'm now married to my job in TV (or so it seems) in Bristol with little time for much else, but I'm not complaining! Thanks to the great teachers of KLB. Mr Penman, Mr Lloyd, Mr Pinch and Mr Ashford especially. I'll visit soon to catch up on the English department gossip!

Comments: Great to find your site and contact my old school after 25 years. I was at KLB. from 1972 to 1977 and have loads of fond memories of pupils and teachers. Are there any "old hands" still working at or in contact with the school who remember me? It would be good to communicate after so long and hear what changes have taken place. Perhaps I could visit next time I am back in the U.K. All you students, I think that you are lucky to have a place at a good school like KLB. Work hard and for your futures, It soon arrives and it's a big bad world out here and money doesn't grow on trees, I know, been there and got the T shirt. Good luck all of you.

Comments: Hi everyone, this is about the 3rd year in a row I've signed this book but this latest entry is to say that I'm exhibiting some of my new work at Stroud House Gallery in late May - mid June. That's the first time I've exhibited in Glos. since foundation. Other than that I've just finished a major exhibition in Swansea, I'm still running the club nights which are still great fun and I'm also looking for a regular day job to tackle my overdraft...

Comments: Hello. I left the XI form in '99, a year of months, and a mightily good one too. In my day the school was extremely effervescent but I then again I never knew a time when it effer-wasn't. Keen readers will notice that this is my second entry. This is more up to date so ignore the other. Anyway I'm kicking about London, trying to be an investment banker and studying at the LSE. Get in touch with me if you know me and indeed if you want to. Ta Ta for now.

Comments: It's me again! I just try to find some of the male Hockey players (Chris White, Chris Armstrong, John Paxton) which were playing at KLB-school under Headmaster Mr. John Law and his wife. They joined our tournament in Vienna very often. The kids were split up between the families. Very great time I'm still playing for WAC. Would be nice if I hear something about one of them.
