Comments: Hey, got my GCSE results, 8 passes from A-C (a
lot better than my predicted grades which were E's and F's.)
Anyway, like to shout out to Mr Pickles for predicting me an E in
English Lit. because I ended up with a B (I guess your dreadful
fortune telling and making fun of my lack of course work helped me
prove you wrong). Also, BIG thank you to Mr Ashford because even
though I really messed up the final exam, I learnt so much in your
Geography lessons, I feel as though I've travelled the world already.
Anyway, anyone who can stretch their fragile little minds back 3
months and to anyone who knew me, I say hi, I'm missing you all

Comments: Hi! I left in 2000 after 7 years at KLB. I'm still
in touch with all my friends, which is both fabulous and unexpected! I
left school to do a 2 year diploma in Drama at GLOSCAT, then moved to
London to do another diploma, this time in Popular Music Performance (Vocals).
I'm still in London, working at a recruitment agency, but I'm also in
a band, singing backing vocals, and in a charity choir, raising money

Comments: Can't believe I left KLB 4 years ago, seems like
only yesterday. I left in the summer of 2000 since then I have
finished my A'levels at Bath and am now in my second year at UWE
Bristol studying BA Honours in Education. I'm currently in Turkey for
the summer teaching English. Recognised a few names Laura Excell, Joe
Addle etc. Its only been four years but seems like we have all done so

Comments: Hey guys! Having left KLB in 2003 to study
Economics and management at Oxford, I think its necessary to say a
massive thank you to the teaching staff, especially Mr Pegg, Miss
Kahn, Ms Hughes, Mr Penman and Miss Folkard for all your help with
pushing me into applying to Oxford. KLB will always have some of my
best memories, (non-rivalry, Buddha, fire-breathing dragon, and the
like). Long may KLB, and the sixth form in particular, achieve the

divorced him in 2004!! We have 2 boys at KLB. I'm still in touch with

Comments: Hello all, very impressed with this web site, its
good to see so many old friends. Left KLB in the summer of 2000, well
what have I been up to, currently in my fourth year at Bournemouth
University doing a BA (Hon's) in Hospitality Management, doing my
dissertation in Australian wine. I spent my placement year in a London
Hotel. My time at KLB was full of good memories from Mr Goodwin’s

Comments: Hello!! I just decided to visit the website while I'm
waiting to go shopping in Southampton seeing as I'm at Southampton
university doing biomedical Science. I remember my times at KLB, I

Comments: Hello peeps! Just scrolled through the guestbook
and am feeling all nostalgic now! Noticed several names I recognise
from my time at KLB. I left in 2000 after GCSE's as I was gagging to
get out into the "real-world". After 3 years of mundane office work, I
have decided to go back to college and get some A-levels, so all you
teachers who advised me to stay on, yup you were right! I wanted to
say a special thank you to Mr Sharrock for not only getting me through
my English GSCE's but propelling and inspiring me to get A grades,
even if I didn't show it at the time, I appreciate it greatly. Oh and
one more thing if you remember me and feel like getting in touch, do
