GCSE ICT Theory - Index Page (OCR exam board)

  • The GCSE ICT short course (OCR code 1094) is made up of 2 units (5.1 and 5.2).
  • The GCSE ICT full course (OCR code 1994) is made up of 4 units (5.1   5.2   5.3 and 5.4).

Assessment of 5.1 will be through examination.

5.2 Practical Skills and Understanding relating to the use of ICT Applications

The main part of 5.2 will be assessed through coursework 1a and 1b. Assessment of the more theoretical issues of 5.2 will be through examination.

Full Course

5.3  ICT Applications, Systems, Networks and Computer Technology

Assessment of 5.3 will be through examination.

5.4 Problem Solving using ICT

The main part of 5.4 will be assessed through coursework 2. Assessment of the more theoretical issues of 5.4 will be through examination.
