To support teachers in encouraging and promoting cultural and environmental awareness and understanding - by fostering responsibility for pride in:

	the school environment
	the local environment
	the international environment

by means of:

	identifying and exchanging good practice in our schools
	developing a range of strategies for enhancing and enriching the environmental curriculum
	enabling teachers and other adults involved in the learning process to promote in their students a clear sense of belonging to a community and sharing a responsibility for the environment.

In 2002/2003 the projects are specifically concerned with the relationship between the school and it's surrounding community.
