During the academic year 1999/2000 the English Department became involved in this project.

Three projects were set up with De Goudse Waarden in Gouda, Holland:

· E-pals and 'the way we live'
· Architecture
· School life and culture

Initially last year's 7Z1 responded to a questionnaire from De Goudse Waarden about school life and culture in the form of mini-projects which have since been bound as a complete volume and distributed to all partner schools in Holland, Poland and Tenerife.

In turn they have requested a reciprocal response to their own questionnaire about De Goudse Waarden school life.
