History at Key Stage 3
Pupils have 3 lesson of History per fortnight in Year 7 and Year 8 and two lessons per fortnight in Year 9.
The National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 is taught through the following programmes of study:

Year 8 Reformation, Revolution and Innovation

- Britain 1750-1900
Year 9 Conflict, Cooperation and Resolution

History at Key Stage 4
GCSE students have 5 lessons of History per fortnight and the OCR Modern World History unit J417 has the following options:
- America 1919-1941
- Britain 1890-1918
- International Relations 1919-1939
History at Key Stage 5
AS and A2 level students have10 lessons of History per fortnight. The department teaches the following OCR modules:
