Holidays in Term Time:
The Headteacher and Governor's urge parents to avoid taking pupils on holiday in term time as it can be disruptive, both to their education and to the school.
Careers
The Careers Curriculum does not describe a subject or study in its own right but relates to a range of work related elements of the KLB school whole curriculum.
Gifted and Talented
Gifted and talented children are those who have one or more abilities developed to a level significantly ahead of their year group (or with the potential to develop these abilities).

Lost Property
The Lost Property office is based in the pink hut behind the Humanities block and is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during break time.
Parent Focus Group
The group meets regularly with a different focus on each occasion. All the parents who provided an email address at the Information Evenings in October have been contacted already but any parent who would like to join this discussion forum is very welcome to do so.
Primary Transition
Early in September, all parents of Year 6 children should receive their copy of the Transfer to Secondary School booklet produced by the County Council. This gives full details of the process of transfer, how to apply, each school’s admission criteria and the dates of any Open Days and/or Open Evenings etc.
School Shop
A list of the items in the school shop and the current price list. These prices may be subject to change depending upon manufacturers prices, but are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of going to press. If you have difficulty getting into school, goods may be ordered through reception.
