KLB Outdoor Club

Training in the Black Mountains

Our Club's aim is to provide a wide range of outdoor activities to all students in years 10–13.

At the moment we run activities such as walking, Ten Tors, mountaineering, indoor and outdoor climbing, camping, orienteering, kayaking and conservation work.

We aim to develop students through a series of planned activities rather than just solely providing them with one off experiences of the outdoors.

We provide students with a planned programme of progression and series of qualifications such as the National Navigation Award Scheme and the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme.
