Designing Jewellery boxes

These images were produced by year 7 and year 8 pupils by the end of their second lesson with ProDESKTOP.

The emphasis in ICT lessons so far has been on exploring the design process so no exact measurements have been used. The design brief here was to produce a rectangular box which could be used to store jewellery items such as rings etc.

The design brief could be extended further, with the need for more exact measurements, to include a lid.

Designing Mobile Phones

The design brief for year 9 pupils was simply to come up with an interesting 'designer look' for a mobile phone.

These images were produced within 2-3 hours of being introduced to the software.

The images were then combined with a background and text to produce an advertisement for the product.

Designing Cameras

Year 9 pupils were allowed to let their imaginations run riot when asked to produce a 'designer' camera.
