The 2007 KLB School Careers Convention will be
held on Wednesday 7th November from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
This event only takes place every other year and is by invitation to all
pupils in Years 9 to 13.
The evening starts at 6:30p.m and finishes at 8:30p.m. Refreshments
available. There will be a wide variety of exhibitors including all of the
local Further Education Colleges, the Armed Forces Recruitment Officers, A
number of Universities, representatives from Healthcare, Banking,
Manufacturing industry, Civil Engineering, Retail, Hardressing, Gap
activities, Leisure and Tourism, Firefighting, the Law, Infrastructure and
the Environment, Engineering, the Connexions organisation and many many more.
This is a rare opportunity to chat informally with a huge diverse range of
people who are actually doing the job and who have given up their time to be
in school with us. We look forward to a rewarding evening where decisions
might well be made which will change YOUR life.
