What I did...

During my week at Lucy Butler flowers, I did lots of things.

Morning tasks-

Firstly I went outside to water and de-dead head the flowers on the trolly.

Then I came back inside and conditioned the new flowers.This means that I took the leaves off to a cirtain place, cut the stems and cut off the thorns on the roses.Then all the waste foliage was thrown into green bins which is later taken to a man who makes compost out of it.

Afterthat i tidied the shop up and bleached the vases, so that bacteria from one plant will not infect another.

Afternoon tasks-

In the afternoon I helped to make bouquets,and I went out on deliveries.Then I'd redecorate the shop, by putting the flowers onto different stands.

Then at 4 o'clock I was picked up and taken home.
