General information on what I did during the placement:

I helped out in a reception class, helping to supervise small groups of children. I helped children with small activities and doing various classroom tasks, such as putting letters in drawers and the like.

Daily Diary:

	Monday: Helped wrap clay figures in tissue paper to be sent home, helped supervise playtime, attended lower school assembly, and helped with handwriting task.
	Tuesday: Helped supervise playtime, helped with painting task, read to children.
	Wednesday: I helped with tracing task, drawing task, threading task.
	Thursday: Helped with handwriting task, photocopied 80 sheets back-to-back.
	Friday: Trip to Kingsgate Park to look for bugs.

Location and Travel arrangements:

I travelled in my mum's car as she had to drop off younger siblings there.

Particular skills or abilities needed:

Patience (lots and lots), a sense of humour.

Health and Safety requirements:

Basic fire safety rules, the bell continuously rings if there is a fire, line up on playground, no hoop earrings in case they get caught on something.

Advice for anyone considering this as a work-experience placement:

You'd have to enjoy working with young children, and have a lot of patience as they get distracted easily.
