Placement - Baromar boarding Kennels

Nature of the business:

	look after the publics pets whilst they are unable to due to holidays/moving house etc
	also to take in any strays

General information on what I did during the placement:

helped with the general welfare and day to day choirs of looking after dogs.

Daily Diary:

	Monday: get to know all the dogs. clean out strays. clean out labs, feed Labradors. talked to members of staff. got to know what providing boarding kennels involved.
	Tuesday: Cleaned out strays, fed them & walked them. Fed, walked & cleaned out the Labradors. General sorting out of dogs bedding & other equipment. Talked to the local dog warden about possible careers (offered me a work experience placement with her). Helped to exercise & clean out all boarding dogs.
	Wednesday: cleaned out strays, fed them & walked them. Fed, walked & cleaned out the Labradors. Exercised & fed Akita's. cleaned out runs.
	Thursday: Cleaned out strays, fed them. Fed, walked & cleaned out the Labradors. Exercised & fed the Akita's. Helped to exercise & clean out all boarding dogs.
	Friday: Moving bedding from one block to another. general cleaning. Cleaned out strays, fed & walked them. Cleaned, fed & walked the Labradors. Exercised & cleaned out all boarding dogs.

Need to be good with animals (dogs)
