| During the placement I worked in a ear 5 classroom helping either the children in general or a specific child with a certain subject. I also did some basic admin (Photocopying etc) and working with groups who wanted to do separate things. |
| Monday: We were shown round the building, including showing who was working where and and where we could go for lunch and other places in the school. we were also introduced to the teachers we'd be working with for the week. Did PE with the children in the afternoon. |
| Tuesday: Got more involved in the classroom, helping certain children with their mathematics and English. |
| Wednesday: Did a day on stop motion animation with play dough. spent most of the time making sure no-one was just doing nothing and that they were using the cameras properly. |
| Thursday: Worked with more children on their mathematics and English in the classroom. |
| Friday: Worked again with children on mathematics and English and then did clay models in the afternoon. |
| The school is found easily from the main road through Wickwar with signs leading to the school. best arrangement is either a bus into the town or a lift from a parent/guardian. |
| You NEED to be able to work well with children and not get annoyed with them. |

| Make sure you can work well with children. also leave the school at lunchtimes as it's a good idea to get away from the children for a while. |
| Again, make sure you can work well with children, and you're fairly enthusiastic about the idea of working with children. |
