I assisted the Head Of Sports Department, in preparation for sports day, general lessons from nursery to year 8 for most sports, and helped with photocopying, printing, and altering paper work..

Location and Travel arrangements:

Rose Hill School is located in Tresham. I traveled with the school to South Cerney Outdoor Water Center for sailing, rafting and kayaking with year 8 "Rose Hillians"

Particular skills or abilities needed:

Need to know rules of sports, keep control of a class of children, be able to work well with children, and be fit and healthy

Advice for anyone considering this as a work-experience placement:

Being a PE teacher is extremely rewarding, However the pay for a PE teacher is not very good but being a teacher means a every school day is different, and you can go to work looking forward to your day. I strongly recommend taking your work-experience opportunity toward PE teaching.
