General information on what I did during the placement:

bulletduring the week I worked with children with a wide range because I visited the local primary schools and in the castle school. I worked in an office and classrooms. I worked on a art and geography exhibition

Daily Diary:

bulletMonday: started on the exhibition, visited a Baptist church with year7.
bulletTuesday: finished the exhibition and had a tour of the school from my friends that got o the school. i visited a local primary school and helped judge a competition  involving ict skills and geography
bulletWednesday: i sat in a year 9 geography class and helped a group of students making a map. I sat in a year 10 geography class and gave ideas for their coursework. i worked in the office helping file and sort out letters and information .I met the headmistress of the school.
bulletThursday: I was on the computer most of the time creating leaflets for the exhibition collecting information and creating invitations to go out for the local primary schools that participate.
bulletFriday: I wasn't at work experience that day because I had a piano grading that was at a awkward time.

Location and Travel arrangements:

bulletit is located at Thornberry and my dad took me there and back although i could of got on a bus

bulletcreative skills, a bit of ict, be able to get on with a variety of people and situations

Advice for anyone considering this as a work-experience placement:

bulletto have friends that go there otherwise you will not know your way around and there will be no-one to hang around with at lunch and break.
