Pupil Premium Strategy

The pupil premium is a grant given by the government to schools in England to decrease the attainment gap for children who receive Free School Meals, are Cared For Children or children whose parents are in the Armed Forces.

As part of the OFSTED inspection framework, schools in receipt of the pupil premium grant are required to account for its use and report this on their website, with specific reference to how it is used to help disadvantaged pupils.

The plan and reports in the statement below outline the provision that KLB School puts in place for pupil premium children and details of how this government funding is spent.
